Kris Aquino, the Queen of all Media, announced on Monday that she is indeed leaving ABS-CBN "Kapamilya" network to move to GMA-7, the television network competition of the former

Kris Aquino made her name a household word since her first talkshow in ABS-CBN, [Today with Kris Aquino] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Today_with_Kris_Aquino), in 1996.

Aquino admitted in a three-part post on her Instagram account that she had a hand on this aftermath when she didn't sign the "generous, less demanding agreement" February this year

**She received a threat to her life that she has to take seriously.** "But at that time there was a threat to my life we needed to take seriously, I had to regain my health, and I needed time for my family & me."

After that incident, she took a four-month vacation in Hawaii with her kids, Bimby and Joshua, to regain her health. When she came back, Aquino said that "there was no definite show and no assured time frame of my return on air."

"That is the risk of taking time for yourself- when you come back there's no guarantee that a space will be held for you. We spoke in July but there was no definite show & no assured time frame of my return on air," wrote Aquino.

Her five-year-old talkshow, [Kris TV] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kris_TV), was taken over by another new show that launched in April entitled, [Magandang Buhay] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magandang_Buhay), hosted by Karla Estrada, Jolina Magdangal and Melai Cantiveros

"**I perfectly understood- as much as I wanted to believe I was a pillar of the network, everybody is dispensable.** And I say that with no bitterness- just HONESTY. So to all of you saying please don't leave- it wasn't a choice that was just mine to make. I take my share of the responsibility. And I say that with so much gratitude in my heart," said Aquino.

Her manager and former The Buzz co-host, Boy Abunda, was the one who reached out to APT Entertainment's Mr. Tony "Mr. T" Tuviera, the team managing Marian Rivera, Maine Mendoza among other big stars of GMA-7, to come up with a new show for her

"Mr. T actually remembered coming to our home in Times Street in 1986 to meet my Mom to produce a show for me when I was 15 years old. 30 years after- dumating na ang TAMANG PANAHON."

Was she hinting that she'll be appearing in [*Eat Bulaga*] (http://says.com/ph/stories/search?utf8=✓&q=aldub)?

**Aquino stressed that there was no "bad blood" between her and the ABS-CBN owners**, Manolo and Maritess Lopez, since she was even set to rent one of the owners' unit in Rockwell, Makati.

Kris Aquino and Boy Abunda were friends since they co-hosted their first talkshow together in GMA-7, *Startalk*, back in 1995. After a year, the Queen of all Media was offered by ABS-CBN to host her own show, *Today with Kris Aquino*, in 1996. The talkshow *Aquino & Abunda Tonight* under ABS-CBN was their last talkshow together when Aquino left the show in September 2015 due to health reasons.

She ended her three-part goodbye with a big thank you to her supporters for allowing her to be herself for the past 20 years

"So here's a shoutout of THANK YOU to the Kapamilya Network ABS-CBN for all that was, and here's a shoutout of THANK YOU to my new APT family for all that will be. And most of all my THANK YOU to all of you for allowing me to just be me," added Aquino.
