A woman is reminding others to stay alert after her handbag was snatched while she was pumping petrol in broad daylight
The incident took place on 10 February at a petrol station in Puchong Jaya, and was later shared online as a cautionary reminder about how quickly crimes like this can happen.
The suspect reportedly circled her before striking

According to the victim, known online as Cabi, she was refuelling her car while holding her handbag when a man on a motorcycle rode past her once, appearing to observe the situation.
On his second pass, the rider sped towards her and suddenly grabbed her bag.
The force of the snatch caused her to fall, before the suspect quickly fled the scene with all her belongings.

In her post, she admitted she had taken her entire bag out of the car, including her phone, wallet, house keys, and even her car keys — a painful lesson after losing everything in seconds.
"Sharing this as a reminder to always be aware of your surroundings, don't be so blur like me," she wrote, adding that she hopes others never experience the same situation.
Thankfully, she said a car behind her stopped to help immediately after the incident, allowing her to seek assistance and lodge a police report soon after.
The suspect is reportedly still at large
Despite the shock, Cabi later shared that she was able to replace her essential documents and items relatively quickly, including her IC, bank cards, phone, and keys.
However, as of about 19 hours ago at the time of writing on 2 March, she said the suspect had not yet been caught.
She also mentioned going back and forth between two police stations, where she was informed that the case is currently under investigation, though she has not received further updates so far.

While she escaped without serious injuries, Cabi described the incident as a harsh reminder of how quickly situations can escalate, even during routine errands like pumping petrol
