A woman in China caused a series of accidents after repeatedly adjusting a traffic mirror for better feng shui
Residents in a Shanghai neighbourhood have been plagued by car accidents caused by a constantly shifting traffic mirror at a sharp turn, reported South China Morning Post.
Even after the mirror was corrected, it kept being readjusted, turning it into a road hazard.
It took two months to identify the culprit: a woman who lived in the house opposite the mirror, who had been adjusting it for better feng shui.

The master concluded that the traffic mirror was to blame for her recent misfortunes.
Following the master's advice, the woman started repositioning the mirror to improve her feng shui.
Luo also claimed the couple believed the mirror was a "demon-revealing mirror" that could reveal demons disguised as humans, insisting they were not demons and did not want such a mirror to be pointed at them.
He defended their actions, saying, "Nobody really uses the mirror".

The property management company overseeing the community tried to resolve the issue by installing a second mirror on the other side of the road, which Luo's wife agreed to.
However, when she reportedly experienced bad luck again, she adjusted both mirrors instead.
On 21 January, police were called to the couple, who warned them that their actions could constitute a criminal offence, and that they could be held responsible for causing traffic accidents.
Meanwhile, the management company has cemented the mirrors in place, preventing them from being moved around.
