‘It Could Have Been Me’ – Malaysian Drivers Say After Freak Accident In KL

According to media reports, the unfortunate incident occurred around 7pm yesterday, 25 August, during the rush hour traffic near Pavilion Kuala Lumpur shopping centre.

The victim was identified as Chin Khoon Sing, 24, from George Town, Penang

**[Malay Mail Online](http://www.themalaymailonline.com/malaysia/article/falling-crane-hook-kills-motorist) reported that Chin was found pinned inside the wrecked Perodua Kelisa when rescue personnel arrived at the scene soon after the 7.15pm incident.**
The Fire and Rescue Department was alerted about the freak accident at 7.23pm, according to operations commander Abu Hassan Abdul Rahman.
After they were alerted of the incident, a team of firefighters and rescuers from the Pudu and Hang Tuah Fire Stations consisting of 16 members rushed to the scene

Chin reportedly died on the spot, and her body was pulled out of the wreckage and sent to Hospital Kuala Lumpur.

The crane was at a construction site nearby, and it is allegedly from a construction site that is part of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur shopping centre.
