A woman died this morning, 19 November, after being hit by a lorry while changing a flat tyre at KM260.6 of the North-South Expressway (PLUS)
According to Berita Harian, the 31-year-old victim, an employee at a water filter company, was on her way to work in Senawang, Seremban, when the incident occurred.
Her colleague, Nur Affiqah Jamran, 30, said she learned about the incident after being contacted by the victim's housemate.
"We were scheduled to meet with the victim this morning, but she did not arrive at the office, which raised our concern.
"Her housemate then contacted us to inform us that she had been involved in an accident. A colleague and I went to the scene immediately, but by the time we arrived, she had already passed away," she said.

Seremban district police chief ACP Azahar Abdul Rahman said the accident involved a Proton X50, driven by the victim, and a Volvo container lorry
Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim was driving from Gadong towards Senawang when her SUV reportedly suffered a flat rear-right tyre.
She then stopped in the emergency lane to change it when the container lorry, driven by a 24-year-old man, reportedly sideswiped her vehicle.
Azahar said the victim sustained severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her body was taken to Rembau Hospital for a post-mortem to determine the exact cause of death.
The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for causing death by reckless driving.
