A 38-year-old woman was found dead in her car at a petrol station in George Town, Penang on Sunday, 22 February
According to Berita Harian, the discovery was made at 7.48pm along Jalan Paya Terubong after authorities were alerted to a locked Perodua Myvi.
Firefighters from the Paya Terubong Fire and Rescue Station faced significant hurdles accessing the victim.

"The rescue team faced difficulties opening the car door because the inside of the vehicle was filled with items," said Operations Commander Khairul Annuar Mohd Rahim.
Rescuers eventually broke the rear passenger window to unlock the vehicle.

While initial inspections uncovered clothes, bags, and drugs, the forensic team ruled out foul play
The woman was found in the driver's seat and later handed over to the police before being sent to Penang Hospital.
The victim's mother revealed her daughter had received mental health treatment for nearly 10 years. She explained her daughter had a habit of keeping items in her car as if she lived there.
"Her condition meant she liked to keep various items in the car as if she lived there, but in reality, she returned home every day," her mother said.
She expressed shock, noting her daughter returned home as usual before the tragedy occurred.
