In the wake of a teen's tragic death after he was struck by a falling chair, a Facebook post alleging that a woman was throwing out pieces of junk from the upper level of a Shah Alam flat has gone viral on social media

In a post from 2 January, Facebook user Cma Sima claimed that she caught the woman throwing heavy pieces of junk from the fourth floor of a Shah Alam flat. The woman is believed to be a cleaner for the building.

Photos show the ground littered with plastic chairs and parts from a kitchen stove and an electric fan. Cma Sima added that the woman's actions are endangering residents' safety, especially children, as there is a playground nearby.

When confronted and chided for her actions, the woman tried to explain that she only chucks the parts off the building after making sure that there is no one in the vicinity

"Turns out, they always do this at the other blocks. As long as no one chides them, they will keep doing it," Cma Sima wrote.

In an accompanying video, the woman was seen crying in fear and apologising profusely. It is believed that Cma Sima told the woman to pick up the junk she threw, though it is not known if any official report was made.

The post has been shared nearly 6,000 times on Facebook at the time of writing.
