A woman accused her husband of cheating after an online fortune-teller's "vision" said so

According to South China Morning Post, the woman from eastern China had spent 500 yuan (RM295) on an online fortune-telling session.

During the session, the fortune-teller claimed that her husband had solicited prostitutes and checked into hotels with other women.

The husband, who repeatedly denied the allegations, felt so wronged that he reported the matter to the police in Wuhu, Anhui province, to clear his name

An officer from the Guandou Police Station, Zhao Xingyu, confirmed the unusual domestic dispute.

"She spent 500 yuan to consult a so-called fortune-telling master, who informed her that her husband was having an affair," Zhao explained.

"She trusted them easily because others had claimed they were highly accurate," the husband said

The husband told authorities the marriage had become intolerable.

"She's been calling this fortune-teller non-stop since early morning. I told her I can't take it anymore. Life like this is simply unbearable," he stated.

Police eventually mediated the conflict and criticised the woman for her superstitious beliefs.
