The emotional Duterte belle, who was expecting triplets, said two of the babies no longer have heartbeats. She knew about the babies' condition after a flag raising ceremony on Monday.
**Remember when she burned Raquel Fortun in a Twitter war?**
During the turn-over ceremonies of Task Force Davao, Duterte said was not feeling well on Monday and sought her doctor's help
"Lunes, buong araw iyak ako ng iyak. I lost my identical twins [I've been crying all day last Monday," she recalls painfully in an interview of [ABS-CBN](http://says.com/ph/news/how-inday-sara-burned-racquel-fortun-in-a-twitter-fight-involving-her-triplets). "Nag-arrest na heartbeat sa identical twins but one is still fighting," she added. She said the doctors cannot tell yet what caused the fetal deaths.
"Actually daghan siya [doctor] gisulti but they really cannot say what happened," she said. (The doctor said a lot of things but they really cannot say what happened.)Duterte said the two fetuses will not be extracted from her womb yet because this might affect the health of the surviving baby. "Dili because naa pa isa e. So dili nila puwede tandugun because maaapektuhan ang isa. So pasagdan lang sila," she said. (The two fetuses will not be extracted because the other one is still alive. They cannot move the two because the other one will be affected. They will just leave the fetuses there.)
Last September 2, Duterte appeared in public for the first time since July, as she led some 500 mourners after the deadly Davao City blast that left 14 civilians dead
She gave her speech and stood firm that the city must "not be terrorized" by the blast, as she called Dabawenyos "to unite and let us help each other rise from this senseless incident."
Last August Duterte announced her pregnancy, "it's been a difficult pregnancy so far" and was advised by her doctors to rest and lay low.
However, she vowed to continue working as the city's chief executive as long as her health permitted so.
"The human body is made to carry just one baby and I am experiencing threefold all the pregnancy symptoms that a woman goes through." Duterte had said. "I will continue to work until I am allowed by the doctors to do so, however, I have been advised to avoid crowded places to lessen the chances of acquiring infections," she added.
