In a hilariously wholesome video that's making the rounds on TikTok, a wild elephant in Perak was caught doing something very on brand — stopping to stare at a blinking road sign warning drivers about, well… elephants

Posted by user @abelori5459, the video shows the gentle giant just chilling by the roadside, eyes locked onto a flashing yellow sign that says "Awas, pandu perlahan" (Caution, drive slowly), with the silhouette of an elephant right on it.

The irony? The real-life version is standing right there, lowkey checking himself out like, "Damn, is that me?"

The TikToker even joked in the caption: "Why are you lighting up? Did you eat the light?" — perfectly capturing the confused energy radiating from our tusked friend.

The clip, which has already racked up over 999,000 views and 133,000 likes, sparked a hilarious flood of comments

One person joked, pretending to be the elephant: "Hi, Awas. I'm an elephant."

"Danger bro, there's an elephant here, ishhh so scary!" wrote another, imagining the elephant's inner monologue.
