Meet Emir's dad — a talented carpenter who runs a small family business in Ipoh. He's been working with his hands for years, doing everything from carpentry and small construction jobs to painting and crafts in his free time.
So, naturally, when inspiration struck, he got right to it.

It all started about three years ago when their home was basically a cat haven — five cats running around (including one stray that loved coming and going like it owned the place)
One day, Emir heard his dad mixing cement outside and, being a bit curious, asked what he was up to. His dad just casually said, "Rumah kucing (house for cats)."

Turns out, Emir's dad grew up in a traditional kampung house and wanted to recreate that same nostalgic vibe — but mini-sized for their furry family members!
The end result was this Rumah Tradisional Perak-style cat house, complete with all the charming little kampung house details.
