Singapore Graduate Gets Whole Duck Bouquet As A Gift — TBH, Hell Yeah
She also received a whole raw bitter gourd.

But for one Singaporean graduate, the sweetest surprise wasn't floral.
It was a full-bodied, perfectly roasted duck… paired with a bitter gourd.

TikTok user @tr1c14_, aka Tricia, recently graduated from Singapore Polytechnic with a diploma in Business Administration. Like most grads, she was expecting to receive some form of congratulatory token.
What she didn't expect was to be cradling a char siu-style duck and a lumpy green vegetable in front of hundreds of people.
Her friends planned the whole thing just to make her 'lose face' a bit — but all in good fun
Tricia later told Must Share News that her friends, Jabez, Wayne, and Boyd, had intentionally plotted to mildly troll her on graduation day.
She had previously told them her least favourite vegetable was bitter gourd, so she expected that much. But then they levelled up.
"They gave me the bitter gourd… but also the roast duck. Because I love roasted duck," Tricia shared, still amused.

The duck didn't go to waste — it went straight into their bellies
While some may have panicked at the thought of carrying meat through a packed hall, Tricia took it all in stride. In fact, she told Must Share News that she was "so so thankful" to her friends, especially since they had to take time off work just to attend her convocation.
The best part? After all the photos and awkward duck-related congratulations, Tricia and her friends brought the bird home and happily devoured it with her friend's family.

Some even pointed out that a whole duck is "not cheap wei", and joked that edible bouquets should be the new norm.
And honestly? They're right.
