A now-viral video shows the child crawling out of a windowsill before a neighbour rushed to intervene.
Without hesitation, the man climbed onto the metal grille outside the building and managed to grab hold of the child just in time. He hugged the child tightly and pulled them safely back into the unit.
The dramatic incident happened on 11 April, and no injuries were reported.
The man's actions have been widely praised online, with many calling him a hero for risking his own safety to save the child
The video, posted on X, has garnered over 150,000 views.
