Duterte Urges OFWs to ‘Fight For What Is Right’

President Rodrigo Duterte addresses the Filipino community in Malaysia about his on-going war on drugs and corruption.

More than 2,000 OFWs based in Malaysia warmly welcomed President Rodrigo Duterte during his two-day Official Visit in the country on Wednesday

The president went to Malaysia to update the Filipino community about the happenings in the country, particularly his [war on drugs] (http://says.com/ph/news/duterte-i-will-kill-drug-lords) and corruption, the peace process and the trade of halal.

Duterte has also reminded his *kababayans* to "fight for what is right" amid the criticisms he has been receiving.

During his speech, Duterte compared the Philippines to an airplane that couldn't take-off because corruption is pulling it down

"**Itong eroplano ng Pilipinas, hanggang ngayon nasa runway. Hindi talaga nag-take off. So, why? Well, number one is corruption. If there was one of the factors that is really pulling us down, it's corruption**."

Steve Dailisan of *Unang Hirit* reported on Thursday that 100,000 Filipinos are living in Kuala Lumpur while there are over 500,000 in Sabah — 60 percent of the Filipino community are domestic helpers while the rest are skilled workers.
