According to The Star, Melaka Tengah district police chief Afzanizar Ahmad said on 13 August that the two teachers, aged 21 and 40, were detained after the nursery's manager filed a report on Saturday, 11 August.
However, the women were reportedly released on a bail of RM3,000 yesterday.

One of the boys was seen being hit until he fell off his chair.
A second video captured the other teacher lifting and shoving a girl's body on top of a young boy after forcing him to crouch on the floor
Other children were seen standing and sitting around in the nursery watching the commotion.
Channel NewsAsia reported chief police Ahmad as saying that the incidents are believed to have happened on 30 July.
Citing a WhatsApp message, The Star reported that one of the teachers had been working in the kindergarten for 11 years.
