Two Dead From Early Morning Crash Involving Three Lorries And One Car On NKVE

Seven others were severely injured.

Motorists were caught in a slower-than-usual rush hour crawl this morning, 12 October, due to an accident on the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) involving three lorries and a car

The incident occurred around 4am this morning at KM14.5 of the NKVE, heading from Damansara towards the Subang toll plaza, reported The Star.

Police have confirmed that the accident left one man and one woman dead, while seven others have been injured

New Straits Times confirmed with Petaling Jaya District Police chief Mohd Zani Che Din that the seven others who sustained severe injuries were taken to the Sungai Buloh Hospital and the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) for treatment.

"Further information will be provided later. Road users are advised to take alternative routes to avoid congestion," he added.

PLUS Malaysia reported at 10.37am that traffic is still at a crawl

On their official Twitter account, PLUS said the left and three middle lanes have been closed for accident wreckage moving works. 

"Traffic is still congested in both directions; 10km south and 11km north. Please use alternative routes," the tweet read.
