Thieves Beat Up A Sales Manager At Berjaya Times Square While Security Guard Watched

"They were kicking him like a football for about a minute. He had no chance of fighting back," according to a 27-year-old payroll officer who was shopping at a personal care store nearby when she noticed the commotion.

A group of men bashed up a 34-year-old sales manager of an optical store in Berjaya Times Square after he confronted them about a pair of sunglasses that were missing from the store

According to The Star, the manager's wife who wanted to be identified only as Mrs. Lim, said the sales manager was on duty together with a female colleague when a group consisting of four to five men entered the store between 9.30pm and 9.45pm yesterday

An eyewitness, a 27-year-old payroll officer who wanted to be known only as Carmen, was shopping at a personal care store nearby when she noticed the commotion, the English daily reported

According to the payroll officer, there were other witnesses at the scene, including the security guard at the personal care store. However, no one dared to step in to stop the assault.

While the 34-year-old victim was sent to Prince Court Medical Centre for treatment, a formal police complaint has been lodged
