Miguel is aware that he is adopted and felt that ever since he was young. When he asked his parents about his true identity, they would always joke around and say, "he was from the ditch."
Kasi siguro ayaw din nila akong mawala sa kanila*," he wrote on his Facebook account.
Last year, he hinted on Facebook that he's adopted and even announced it to his friends.
After watching Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho (KMJS), he is even more sure about his identity.
Miguel contacted KMJS and even said that he's willing to take a DNA test. He just wanted to find his real family and doesn't plan to cause any trouble to Mrs. Laurie Dollente and her family.
Godbless po*," he wrote on his [Facebook post] (https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=1660421427611880&id=100009321161363).
Earlier, KMJS posted a video showing Mrs. Laurie Dollente looking for her son who got kidnapped and lost 20 years ago
In the video, Mrs. Dollente emotionally recalls the last moments she had with her son "Earl". According to her, the last words her son told her was, "**I love you, Mimi.**"
Her fondest memory was when her son gave her flowers who insisted to get more. Her older daughter accompanied Earl to get more from the garden, and that was the time when she lost the young boy.
Last 27 May 2016, Mrs. Dollente posted a photo of her son as she's still longing to see him once again. However, to everyone, it seems impossible as the young boy has been missing for almost two decades already.
Mrs. Dollente has a special message for her long-lost son:
**"Nak, wherever you are now, I want you to know that we moved heaven and earth to find you, but everything proved futile. We were like searching for a needle in a haystack. You should have celebrated your 21st birthday last Feb. 16 with us, your family who's been so longing for your return. Come home to us anak, we love you very, very much. Lord, like I always pray, I beg you that before I see you, allow me to please see my son first."**
