About 30 roads will be closed in stages for the 2025 Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon (KLSCM) this weekend
The annual event will be held on Saturday, 4 October, and Sunday, 5 October, with a new race route introduced this year.
Instead of starting and ending at the usual Dataran Merdeka, this year all races will begin at Jalan Raja Laut and end at Stadium Merdeka.
Here are the road closures you can expect:
– Saturday, 4 October: 13 roads in the city centre will be closed between 5am and 10am for the 10KM and 5KM categories.
– Sunday, 5 October: 29 roads will be closed in stages from 3am to 11am for the Full Marathon and Half Marathon.
In addition, Jalan Raja Laut, the starting point, will be closed from 10pm on Friday, 3 October, to allow for race preparations.
