It was later revealed that the man, identified as Bingbing, works as a veterinary assistant at the Kasetsart University Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Bangkok

He told Thai news outlet Bright TV that his daughter alerted him to the incident. Upon arriving, he saw another person attempting CPR but applying pressure to the wrong area.

"The correct method for chest compressions is to apply pressure to the side of the cat's body," he shared.

After the cat, named Thongkham, regained consciousness, it struggled to breathe. Bingbing rushed it to a veterinary hospital.
