A teenage girl fell into an uncovered hole while using a pedestrian walkway in Ara Damansara, Selangor last Thursday, 16 April
In a Threads post last week, @amirhasri864 said the incident occurred on a dry and sunny day..
"The girl was fortunate because the heavy rain had not started.
"This is dangerous. Please look into this, Petaling Jaya Municipal Council (MBPJ). It happened right in front of our eyes," the netizen wrote.
The four photos in the post show that the hole is located beside a cemented walkway, where the surrounding soil has collapsed, forming a rectangular opening.
The girl is seen stranded in the hole as passersby attempt to pull her out.
Her arms and legs appear to be covered in mud, and she is believed not to have sustained any serious injuries.

At the time of writing, the post has garnered over 3,300 likes and 1,000 shares
A netizen said the situation was dangerous, as the green slab visible in the hole may indicate the presence of live electrical cables.
Another netizen said that they have seen many such holes in the area, but maintenance efforts have struggled to keep up with the hazardous sinkholes.
Meanwhile, one Threads user shared a photo, claiming that MBPJ had dispatched workers to inspect the hole.
Sinar Daily reported last week that MBPJ had yet to issue a statement on the matter.
