#Budget2025: Tax Relief For OKU Taxpayers Increased

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has announced tax relief measures for OKU taxpayers, during the tabling of 2025 Budget in Parliament today, 18 October

These include:

-Increased tax relief for OKU to RM7,000.

-Tax relief for spouses of OKU has been raised to RM6,000.

-Tax relief for taxpayers with unmarried OKU children has been increased to RM8,000.

RM1.3 billion has also been allocated for OKU assistance under the Department of Social Welfare (JKM)

"The facilities in public universities (IPTA) will also be enhanced to be more disabled-friendly," he stated.

An allocation of RM30 million will also be made for the ongoing implementation of the Community-Based Rehabilition Program.
