The irresistible housing scheme sent Johoreans into a frenzy

It caused people to gather at Galleria@Kotaraya shopping mall from as early as 5 am. The huge crowd caused massive congestions on roads leading to the shopping mall.

People were so eager to register to apply for the "dream homes" under the '[Rumah Impian Sultan Ibrahim](http://says.com/my/news/rm1-deposit-and-affordable-housing-scheme-to-mark-johor-sultan-s-birthday-celebration)' project that they gathered at the venue a full 12 hours before, as the registration counters were only slated to open at 5 pm.
