A store in Kuwait has found a slippery trick to make fish appear fresher – by sticking googly eyes on them

However, authorities saw right through the trickery.
According to local media, the owners have reportedly been told to cease operations after images and a video showing the "fresh fish" surfaced on social media on Monday, 2 September.
Hilarious photos showed the eye slipping off the fish's face, revealing a yellow eye beneath.
Needless to say, the Twitterverse reacted with hilarity
This is not the first time something like this has happened in Kuwait. In July, a fishmonger was accused of stuffing his fish with nails to increase their weight and market value.
