Anak Merdeka Malaysia is more than a birthday bash. It celebrates Malaysians born on our most historic days, turning them into living symbols of national unity.

To mark the upcoming National Day on 31 August and Malaysia Day on 16 September, the National Unity Ministry, in collaboration with the National Archives of Malaysia (ANM), launched the programme to honour Malaysians born on these dates, recognising them as symbolic heroes.

The best part? Registration is open to all Malaysian citizens, regardless of background, race, or age.

Yup, as long as your IC shows 31 August or 16 September, you qualify. This is your time to shine (and maybe even get a little pampered by the nation too).

According to National Unity Minister Datuk Seri Aaron Ago Dagang, this initiative is more than just a birthday recognition

"We're not just marking birthdays. We're bringing together the voices of Malaysians under one national identity. This is the true spirit of Malaysia MADANI a nation that cherishes its history, inspires hope, and unites its people," he said.
