Siti Nurhaliza Rushed To Hospital After Multi-Vehicle Crash On MEX Highway

She underwent an X-ray following concerns of a ligament tear in her left leg.

Malaysian songstress Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza was rushed to hospital after being involved in a multi-vehicle collision on the MEX Highway in Selangor yesterday, 16 April

According to her manager, Rozi Abdul Razak, in an Instagram Story, the incident occurred when Siti was travelling back to Kuala Lumpur from a performance at RedQ AirAsia in Sepang.

The 47-year-old singer is believed to have been a passenger in a vehicle involved in the four-car accident near Seri Kembangan at KM14.2.

Rozi said that she and another member of Siti's management team were travelling in a separate vehicle slightly behind.

Upon seeing the crash, they immediately stopped to check on her.

"We brought her out of the affected vehicle and into our car before taking her to hospital. Alhamdulillah, she is safe," she said.

Siti reportedly suffered bruises and swelling on her leg

Rozi expressed gratitude for the concern, well-wishes, and prayers from the public, assuring that the artiste's condition is stable.

In a video shared from her home with her son, Siti also assured fans that she is is doing well.

Fearing a potential ligament tear, she underwent an X-ray, and her leg has since been bandaged.

She is now hoping for a speedy recovery, as she has several upcoming events to attend.

Earlier on Thursday, a photo of Siti standing by the roadside near a damaged vehicle went viral on social media.

She appeared visibly distressed in the image, sparking public concern over her safety.
