[VIDEO] Singaporean Volkswagen Driver Caught Driving Recklessly On Highway In Malaysia

A video of a Singaporean driver driving recklessly and deliberately slowing down in the fast lane has gone viral on social media

The incident, which happened on a highway in Malaysia, was recorded and uploaded by Facebook user David Chong on 3 February. Though it was eventually taken down, the video had found its way to several community pages on Facebook, such as KL吹水站.

"This guy thinks he can be a road bully just because he drives a Singapore-registered car."

At the start of the video, it was clear that driver in the Singapore-registered Volkswagen deliberately drove slower than usual in the fast lane as cars on the other lanes drove past it.

Though the car behind the Volkswagen switched to the middle lane, the Singapore-registered car followed suit and deliberately slowed down again despite an empty lane ahead

The blue vehicle eventually moved aside and allowed the car behind it to drive past in the two-minute video

It remains unclear what had caused the incident to happen.

In addition to Malaysians, even Singaporean netizens were not too pleased with the driver's reckless actions
