Malaysians and Singaporeans were in for a shock when they recently discovered a website that is stealing photos of Malaysian and Singaporean girls from the Internet

The blog named 'Singalaysia', which is hosted on Weebly, shows a collection of photos of girls from Malaysia and Singapore.

The blog is stamped with hundreds of images of young girls, with their names mentioned along with it.

Most of the images on the website look like photos of girls who are underaged.

It was highlighted that some of the photos uploaded on the blog are actually images that have been set to the 'private' setting on social media. This indicates that those photos can only be accessed by certain people.

**The photos are believed to be taken from social media platforms like Facebook and Snapchat, thus leading victims to suspect that the culprit is on their friends or followers list.**

As of today, the blog has about 54 pages. The first post that was published on the blog was traced to 4 April 2016, featuring a girl named 'Aairenee'.

Here's what you can do to make sure that you, or anyone you know, stay safe and do not become a victim on this blog:

1. Help to **report the blog to Weebly**, so that the blog will be taken down. You can **make the report [here](https://www.weebly.com/contact).**

2. If you recognise someone whose picture is on that dubious website, **inform them right away.**

3. Consider filtering your friend or follower list on social media. **Make sure you only accept requests from people whom you truly know.**

UPDATE: The said blog has been taken down as of 26 May.

Three years ago, a similar case happened where photos of Malaysian girls were uploaded to a blog:
