Shark Attack Survivor Bethany Hamilton Beats The World’s Number One!
Bethany Hamilton has once again inspired all of us to look beyond our handicaps and continuously reach of our dreams.

She also beat Tyler Wright, the top-ranked female surfer in the world, to reach the semifinals of the competition in Tavarua, Fiji, according to [Today News] (http://www.today.com/news/shark-attack-survivor-bethany-hamilton-beats-world-s-best-surfers-t95456).
In an interview with CNN today, Bethany Hamilton told anchors Amara Walker and Michael Holmes how she respects Gilmore, but she also felt great for taking down the world's top surfer!
Hamilton posted her thanks to CNN after inviting her for an interview.
Hamilton has become a source of inspiration to millions through her story of determination, faith and hope
At the age of thirteen, Hamilton lost her left arm to a 14-foot tiger shark, which seemed to end her career as a rising surf star. One month after the attack, Hamilton returned to the water and within 2 years had won her first National title, as posted on her [website] (http://bethanyhamilton.com).
