The security guard involved in the viral street fight with an MMA fighter outside a condominium in Seri Kembangan, Selangor, has spoken up to give his side of the story
Muhammad Alim Muhamad Adnizam, 24, said the dispute with MMA trainer Tony Lim stemmed from an earlier misunderstanding within the premises.
Speaking to Harian Metro, Alim said he was finishing his shift at the condominium when the altercation began.
"I'm not a fighter. I don't even know silat. Nothing. The whole thing happened all of a sudden," he told Harian Metro.
"There was already a misunderstanding between us. I was doing my work and suddenly he approached me. I couldn't stay calm and the fight broke out," Alim recalled.
"I know I'm a hot-tempered person. I was just doing my job, but don't provoke me," he said.

Alim said both he and Tony later lodged police reports at the Kinrara police station in Puchong before agreeing to reconcile
They shook hands and promised not to spread the video.
"We had settled it. We admitted our mistakes and left the station," he said.
However, a few days later, Alim said his friends alerted him that the video of the brawl had gone viral. Soon after, his relatives also started calling him to ask what had happened.
"I didn't know it could go viral like that. I was embarrassed, especially since I live in a flat with my family, and there are a lot of neighbours around. But I just had to swallow my pride because it already happened," he said, adding that he received four stitches on his lip due to the incident.
Alim mentioned this was the second incident involving him, but did not elaborate on the previous fight with a different individual.

He revealed that his employer has since reassigned him to a different residential complex in Puchong.
"I live with my family, so if I don't work, it doesn't feel right, and I felt lost at first. Luckily, my employer didn't fire me; they just transferred me elsewhere," he said.
He added that he has read the comments online, and accepted the advice and criticism written by netizens.
Alim also admitted the need to better control his emotions and said the incident has been a valuable lesson. He chose to not share further details, as the case is still under police investigation.
