It's a grand gesture but some are debating: Is this generous or a bit too much?
Many praised the family for their kindness and how they went the extra mile to appreciate educators.
However, a few netizens raised concerns that such lavish gifts might influence how teachers view their students and lead to pilih kasih, or favouritism.
In response, the boy's mother took to the comments section to clarify that such acts were born out of gratitude and not expectations.

High-end kitchenware really got people talking about Teachers' Day gifts
Some users mentioned they were also considering cookware as gifts this year, while teachers fondly recalled the simpler gifts of the past.
One user, who is a teacher, said they would be grateful to receive even a simple marker pen as a gift.
All in all, many were moved to see such dedication and gratitude towards our nation's teachers.
