Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has announced a RM50 million allocation for the repair and maintenance of registered non-Muslim houses of worship
In tabling Belanjawan 2026, he stated that the allocation will be channelled to non-Muslim places of worship nationwide.
These include places of worship in Sabah and Sarawak.
He said the initiative is to support the religious premises of Malaysia's multiracial community.
