He has earned 50 trophies from various award-giving bodies including his latest awards: the Life Achievement Awards for Film from the Cultural Center of the Philippines and the *Gawad Plaridel* from the University of the Philippines — which were both given last year.
Lee's Facebook [page] (https://www.facebook.com/TripToQuiapo/) posted the announcement about the 15th workshop on July, attracting aspiring writers and filmmakers from all-over the country to participate in the country's most laid-back yet substantial scriptwriting workshop they could join in!
