Over the past year, The Vocket has continued to grow its audience, now attracting 1.4 million unique readers, 68.5 million monthly pageviews, and more than 758,000 followers across social media.

The platform has built a strong following among young Malaysians, especially millennial men aged 25 to 44, who tune in for its mix of football, travel, finance, tech, and lifestyle content.

"This full acquisition of Vocket is a testament to REV Media Group's commitment to pioneering scale, fostering innovation, and cementing our leadership in Malaysia's dynamic digital media market," affirmed Samuel Wee, Chief Executive Officer of REV Media Group.

"Vocket has proven its immense potential and strong influence among millennials and the growing Gen Z market. With full ownership, we are now poised to accelerate its growth exponentially, and collectively set transformative benchmarks for digital publishing and content to expand our market share further across the nation."

"This is an incredible milestone for Vocket," shared Mohd Fazreen Jasni, founder of The Vocket.

"Vocket was founded 11 years ago out of a genuine passion for content-sharing and this recent acquisition marks the beginning of a new chapter. As 'Viral in Your Pocket,' our mission is to deliver fresh, bold ideas that connect with readers across racial, economic, and social backgrounds."

Fazreen added that while The Vocket continues to explore new digital opportunities under REV, he plans to take a step back to focus on personal growth and sporting pursuits.

The full integration of The Vocket into REV Media Group's ecosystem will open up new possibilities

Advertisers can expect stronger cross-platform campaigns, more precise audience targeting, and innovative monetisation opportunities.

For readers, this could mean even more creative, localised, and relatable stories tailored to Malaysia's diverse digital audience.
