The incident occurred at around 5pm on Wednesday, 12 March, and was caught on video, before going viral on TikTok.
The stall @adictochurrosmelaka, which sells churros, was live-streaming on TikTok when the fire broke out.
In the 18-second clip, a young man is seen talking to the camera inside the tent as heavy rain pours outside. Suddenly, a fire ignites behind him, quickly spreading and engulfing the stall in flames.
As the man rushes out of frame, the fire intensifies, reaching from the floor to the ceiling
Fortunately, there were not many flammable items in the stall, so the flames died down relatively quickly, revealing that the fire had started in the frying pan.

The fire destroyed the front half of the churros stall's tent and slightly affected a neighbouring stall.
However, there were no reported injuries.
It turned out that rainwater, which had been collecting on the stall's tent, had leaked into the frying pan just as the vendor was heating oil to fry a batch of churros.
The vendor did not disclose how the fire was eventually extinguished, but the team was unable to save any of their equipment.

Despite the setback, the stall owners remained determined to keep their business running
The churros stall resumed operations just two days later on Friday, 14 March, as revealed in a TikTok update from the business.
