And her name is Puan Tuty Sofia

At 28 years old, she's broken the public transport sector's male stereotype.

"Thank you for being a role model for young girls out there who want to build a career in the public transportation industry," wrote Prasarana Malaysia's CEO, Azmi Abdul Aziz, in a Facebook [post](https://www.facebook.com/PrasaranaCEO/posts/1441148352628248).

Prior to working for Prasarana, Puan Tuty was a taxi driver

She's also a mother to two kids, which she says is a struggle, considering she has to work both day and night shifts. However, she's grateful that her family understands her working conditions.

She admitted that she was quite nervous when she first started, but named her husband and kids as her biggest supporters.

Malaysia's public transport system is a largely male-dominated environment

Aziz wrote that Prasarana is committed to thoroughly including women in their organisation.

"We want to break the male-dominated stereotype in this industry by creating an inclusive environment in Prasarana where everyone, regardless of their gender, will thrive and succeed."

Congratulations to Puan Tuty!
