A police officer was caught on video stepping on a suspect's head during an arrest in front of a motorcycle accessory shop in Kedah
According to Berita Harian, Kulim deputy police chief Tengku Mohd Faisal Tengku Yeng confirmed that the incident occurred at 11am yesterday, 20 April, along Jalan Tunku Putra in Kulim.
In the 29-second video, which has since gone viral on Facebook, two police officers are seen attempting to detain a motorcyclist. One police officer stepped on the suspect's head in an apparent attempt to subdue him.
The arrest followed a crime prevention patrol, during which officers encountered the suspect and attempted to conduct an inspection.

The suspect allegedly kicked a police motorcycle before leading officers on a dangerous chase, during which he rode recklessly against the flow of traffic.
Upon successfully intercepting him, police discovered two plastic bags suspected of containing boiled ketum water.
The man was subsequently taken to the police station for further action after his attempt to evade arrest.
A preliminary urine screening revealed that the suspect tested positive for methamphetamine
Authorities are currently processing the case to ensure all legal protocols are followed after the high-speed pursuit that endangered other road users.
Police have opened investigation papers under the Poisons Act 1952, the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952, and the Road Transport Act 1987.
According to Harian Metro, the suspect will be brought to the Kulim Magistrate's Court today to obtain a remand order.
