Police: Gang Rivalry Behind Klang Shooting That Left Man Dead In Car

A recent fatal shooting in Meru, Klang, has been linked to a conflict between two rival gangs, according to police
Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan confirmed that two suspects, aged 25 and 40, have been arrested in Klang in connection with the case.
"We believe the incident was caused by a disagreement between two rival gangs," he told reporters at the Selangor police headquarters yesterday, 1 July, as quoted by The Star.
"The victim was a member of one of the gangs. We are still investigating whether the killer was hired or a member of one of the gangs," he added.

So far, police have taken statements from 12 individuals as the investigation aims to uncover the identities of other gang members involved
"It was not a random shooting. It was a coordinated hit. We are still investigating what the disagreement was about," said Hussein.
The incident occurred on 20 June, when a 46-year-old local man was shot in his four-wheel-drive in front of a motorcycle shop in Taman Meru Utama.
He was found covered in blood in the driver's seat of his car.
