Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) has confirmed that several areas in the Klang Valley have been hit by a sudden power outage this evening, 15 October
In a Facebook post, TNB said the disruption has impacted several locations around Kepong and Kuala Lumpur.
Social media users are also reporting blackouts across several areas in Petaling Jaya.
The utility company said its technical team is currently on-site working to restore electricity as quickly as possible.
"We greatly appreciate your patience and sincerely regret any inconvenience caused," TNB said.
It also reminded the public to be cautious when handling electrical appliances during the outage, as power may be restored at sudden notice.
