Malaysians say they welcome Nuseir Yassin, better known as Nas Daily, to the country as long as he leaves out his political agendas at the door
The Israeli-Palestinian vlogger took to Facebook on 22 February to reflect on his 2022 trip to Malaysia.
"I was banned from entering Malaysia. Because of my passport. Four years ago, I stood at this border and was denied entry. So I got a second passport. And I came back," he said.
Nas purportedly entered Malaysia using a Saint Kitts and Nevis passport to explore the country four years ago
Nas previously dubbed the country "The Forbidden Land" as he was barred from entry due to his Israeli citizenship.
He claimed he purchased a passport from Saint Kitts and Nevis, a country in the Caribbean, to circumvent the ban.
He said his new travel document allowed him to cross the border from Singapore? and explore the country he had been watching from afar. Inside, he said he found a landscape and social fabric that surprised him.
Nas spent his time highlighting the country's "green forests" and "tropical rain", while marvelling at Malaysia's multicultural harmony
He noted how the Malay, Chinese Malaysian, and Indian Malaysian communities lived in harmony side by side.
"But once inside, people were welcoming. And that's what I want to remember," Nas remarked. "Not that the government didn't want me in, but that the people chose to be kind to me," he added.

Malaysians responded to his Facebook post with a mix of hospitality and caution
Many commenters urged him to enjoy the food and culture without bringing his political agendas along.
One user wrote, "Just don't come here and talk about racial issues… we are Malaysians living in peace."
