This marks a major milestone for Nestlé Malaysia, which has been chosen as a key hub to supply the premium coffee concentrate not just locally, but also to Singapore, Oceania, the Middle East, and eventually other ASEAN countries and even Europe.

The innovation comes at the right time, with cold coffee becoming increasingly popular across Asia, especially among younger consumers who want café-style drinks at home.

"NESCAFÉ Espresso Concentrate is set to tap into new and innovative growth opportunities in the very dynamic coffee space that are especially relevant for the younger generations who are embarking into their discovery of the coffee culture.

"We are seeding new platforms for future growth, while bringing exciting and convenient ways to enjoy Malaysians' most loved coffee brand: NESCAFÉ!," said Juan Aranols, CEO of Nestlé Malaysia.

Meanwhile, Raef Labaki, Business Executive Officer of Coffee at Nestlé Malaysia, added, "NESCAFÉ Espresso Concentrate is an exciting innovation that reflects how we are reshaping the future of coffee experiences for consumers.

"This launch reinforces NESCAFÉ's commitment to delivering a great cup of coffee anytime, anywhere, made with the highest quality Arabica and Robusta coffee beans, for all coffee lovers to enjoy in here in Malaysia and across the region."

The NESCAFÉ Espresso Concentrate bottles are made from 100% recycled PET plastic (rPET) and feature Carbon Black Free Pigment caps.

The Sri Muda factory has been a global pioneer in adopting environmentally friendly packaging solutions.

Its achievements include suppressing over one billion plastic straws since 2019, replacing plastic wrappers with sustainable paper solutions, and being the first company in ASEAN to adopt 100% rPET across all its bottled drinks.

Over the past five years, Nestlé Malaysia has invested close to RM1.5 billion in expanding and upgrading its facilities

This includes the development of an integrated logistics hub in Port Klang (set to open in 2026), as well as major upgrades to flagship facilities such as the MILO plant in Chembong and Batu Tiga factories.

The Sri Muda factory already makes a variety of Ready-to-Drink products under MILO, NESCAFÉ, and NESTLÉ OMEGA PLUS. Its location also gives it easy access to ingredients, a skilled workforce, and strong logistics, making it an ideal export hub.

And with the new NESCAFÉ Espresso Concentrate line being produced there, it's now one of the most advanced facilities of its kind in the world. This strategic move further reinforces Nestlé Malaysia as a key halal manufacturing hub for the Nestlé group worldwide.
