"I am a thief of people's hearts," he told a crowd at a Tesco in Semenyih on 13 February.

A live video of Najib arriving to loud cheers and chants of 'Bossku', 'Malu apa', and 'Hidup' was posted to his official Facebook page.
A large crowd of people, some of which wore colourful 'Bossku' T-shirts, followed him around the grocery store asking for selfies.
In his caption for the video, the former premier wrote that, "I was going around in Kuala Lumpur when I suddenly felt thirsty"
"Do I need a permit to buy water?" he added.

In another Facebook post, Najib joked that, "I went to Tesco Semenyih to buy kitchen supplies. Why are all these people following me?"
