Yep. Seriously. For reals.
Cover image via postimg.orgYep, you read that right. Mocha Uson is getting her own column on the Philippine Star.
"Starting on Tuesday, Nov. 8, The Philippine STAR will welcome Mocha as a columnist, not in the Entertainment Section but in the Op-Ed Section. Her column will be called Hotspot and that sums up what "hot" items you can expect from Mocha every Tuesday," according to Ricky Lo's piece "Mocha: Flavor for all Season" on Philippine Star
On the piece, Ricky Lo explains that "under the constitution, Mocha has a right to free speech" and so she is given a bigger and much more reputable avenue, we might add: The Philippine Star
The Philippine Star has been around since the 80's when its founders, Betty Go-Belmonte, Max Soliven and Art Borjal first published it after the People Power Revolution on July 28, 1986
The Philippine Star is a print and digital newspaper in the Philippines and the flagship brand of the PhilStar Media Group.
The Philippine Star is among the Philippines' most widely circulated newspapers, with an average circulation of 266,000 copies daily, according to the Philippine Yearbook 2013.
