A monsoon surge is expected to occur from 25 to 29 December, bringing the risk of continuous rainfall to the eastern parts of Peninsular Malaysia
The Malaysian Meteorological Department (METMalaysia) issued a significant weather alert yesterday, 22 December, warning of the forecast.
The monsoon surge is also expected to bring strong winds and rough sea conditions in the South China Sea during the same period.
