Taking to Facebook to share updates, Francis Poh Chun Tat said it took him about three days, but he successfully got the three puppies adopted.
"Thank you all for the support for the past three days. I can rest in peace now after enduring all of that heat and leg sores," he said, expressing his gratitude to friends and well-wishers.

His personal adoption drive in Bukit Tinggi, Klang began on Saturday, 31 May, after a kind neighbour helped him rescue three puppies in their residential area
Poh said this was the first litter he had seen in three years, as he has been doing his best to manage the stray population in his neighbourhood.
"Over the years, I've managed to neuter most of the female dogs in the area, which helped prevent unwanted litters and kept the stray population under control," he explained.
Nonetheless, he said, "These little ones deserve a safe and loving home."

To ensure the adoption drive ran smoothly and responsibly, Poh first obtained permission from the management of the commercial area where he planned to set up
Next, Poh even rented two parking lots so the public and potential adopters could stop by and check out the puppies without interrupting traffic.
To make sure the puppies were kept cool and comfortable, he also made sure they had shade, ice packs, and portable fans.
As a matter of principle, Poh said he also did a quick vetting of interested adopters to ensure the puppies were going to loving families.
"I have the choice to reject adopters if I don't feel good about them. The puppies' safety will always be my priority," he shared, adding that he also refused to accept any money during the drive to avoid any perception of profiting from the effort.

In the end, one young man adopted two of the puppies, while a father with two children took the last one home

Poh's Facebook post also went viral, garnering close to 4,000 likes, with netizens cheering him on, and thanking him for his determination and care.
Speaking to SAYS, Poh said he's been rescuing animals for over 10 years, and has successfully rehomed more than 100 kittens and puppies
The 43-year-old, who works in the events and entertainment industry, also said he chose to remain standing throughout the adoption drive to show his commitment to getting the puppies adopted.
"I stand to make sure it's successful. Imagine if I'm sitting down, what kind of body language does that convey? By standing, people from afar can see that I'm serious. It's not about my pain," he explained.
Poh also expressed his gratitude to the kind passersby who gave him food and drinks, as well as the supportive security guards and parking attendants nearby who encouraged him throughout the three-day effort.
