A viral video of a man repeatedly assaulting a defenceless individual, believed to be mentally unstable, has sparked outrage on social media
The footage, uploaded to X by Updateinfo, shows the incident taking place beside a black car parked by the roadside.
In the recording, the assailant is seen shouting at the victim before striking him three times in the head and face
The victim did not retaliate or attempt to defend himself during the unprovoked attack.
Instead, he is seen quietly walking away from the scene as the clip ends.
The video has since drawn strong reactions online, with many netizens expressing sympathy for the victim
One user noted that while the victim appeared mentally unwell, the attacker had no right to strike him.
"Poor guy, he looks like an unsound man, but [the attacker] can't just punch people," the user commented.
Others added that the attacker would likely "start playing victim" if the situation were reversed.
Public calls are now mounting for authorities to investigate the incident and ensure justice for the vulnerable man.
