A man in his 20s was caught with a 16-year-old girl during a khalwat raid in Kulai, Johor today, 30 September
According to Berita Harian, the Johor State Islamic Religious Department (JAINJ) said the man works at a factory, while the 16-year-old girl is a student at a school outside the district.
They were arrested during an operation between 10pm yesterday, 29 September, and 3am this morning.
"The man was shocked when he opened the door and saw five JAINJ enforcement officers.
"When the enforcement officers entered the room, his partner stood there, and she looked like a student," said JAINJ.
JAINJ caught three couples for khalwat at hotels in the district today, 30 September.

Meanwhile, two other couples were arrested for the same offence, including an Indonesian-Malaysian pair and a Myanmar pair, reported Harian Metro.
