Man Gravely Injured After Being Hacked Repeatedly By Machete-Wielding Man In Seremban Mall
The 40-year-old victim was taking a smoke break when he was suddenly attacked.

CCTV footage of the 7pm incident, which has since gone viral, shows the victim being ambushed and repeatedly hacked by a man wielding a machete.
The attacker, who was part of a group seen running up from an escalator, approached the victim and struck him repeatedly before fleeing, according to Harian Metro.
Seremban district police chief ACP Mohamad Hatta Che Din said the victim was taking a smoke break when the group suddenly appeared.
"He was caught off guard and could not avoid the attack. He was slashed several times before managing to escape, and is believed to have been helped by a friend," he said in a statement yesterday, 15 April.
The victim was rushed to the hospital and is currently in stable condition.
He sustained injuries to his arms, back, and right leg.

Police believe the attack may have been motivated by personal revenge, but investigations are ongoing to determine the motive
The case is being investigated under Section 324 of the Penal Code.
The suspect has been identified, and efforts are underway to locate and arrest the individual.
"Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact the investigating officer, Inspector Tharvin, at 019-3666048 or report to the nearest police station to assist with the investigation," Mohamad Hatta said.
