On 23 May, a man was was fined SGD300 (RM914) for shooting two rubber bands that landed on a public road in Singapore
The incident occurred on 27 May at Jurong East Central One, The Star reported.
A photo of the fine has since gone viral after being posted on All Singapore Stuff's Facebook page.

After observing the man shoot the rubber bands onto a road, NEA enforcement officers informed him that his action constituted a littering offence
They then issued him an enforcement ticket for the offence under the Environmental Public Health Act (Chapter 95).
Under 'Nature Of Offence', the officer wrote, "You did throw rubber band in a public place".
The man faces a maximum penalty of SGD10,000 (RM30,445) or jail term if the fine is not paid by 8 July.

"We would like to remind the public that littering has environmental consequences," the NEA said in a statement
"Keeping our environment clean by not littering is a gracious and socially responsible thing to do," it read.
The agency told Channel NewsAsia that the offender "was cooperative throughout (the NEA) officers' engagement with him".
