A video of a man engaging in a 'fight' with a toddler over a plane window shade has gone viral, sparking a heated online debate about airline etiquette
The clip, shared on X, shows the 4-year-old child repeatedly reaching back from their seat to push the window shade up.
In response, the man, who was reportedly watching Hocus Pocus 2, immediately pulled the shade back down each time the child opened it.
The back-and-forth continued until the man resorted to holding the window shade closed with his hand, while the child persistently tried to pry it open
The short video also shows the toddler attempting to cover the man's entertainment screen with their hands after losing control of the shade.
The incident has divided social media users, with some finding the interaction humorous while others heavily criticised the child's parents.
